Subject
Subsidies for fossil fuel
What should be researched?
Billions and billions of EU-money. It's the case for the EU-climate plan, It's also the case for the EU-subsidies given to the fossil fuel industry. It just doesn't rhyme. EU-members are expected to reach goals while the EU is giving money to 'the enemy' in this battle atleast. I want to know why, who and how so much money is being spent in two contradictionary fields (climate and fossil fuel).
Who is affected?
The fossil fuel industry can keep on going while nature and environment pay the price, along with EU-citizens
Why should this story be researched?
It's crazy how the EU has a ambitious climate plan, expect its members to reach certain goals, but subsidize the fossil fuel industry.
Where does this story take place?
The whole of Europe
